We use Social Media networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tiktok, Snapchat, Youtube and many other platforms everyday for different meaningful purposes. We have created accounts if not all but on most of these networks. We invite people to become our friends even if they are just acquaintances in real life just to have a connection. We join groups for more exclusive information. We follow Social Media pages of our favorite brands, favorite vloggers and too many other pages and engage in their posts for updated information or happenings. We use Social Media to connect virtually, be informed and have some fun. We are so glued to our gadget’s screens spending 144 minutes of our day monitoring our timelines, newsfeed and messages. We like, tag, share and comment. We engage.
Because Business Owners and Professionals are Busy
There are just too many advantages one can gain from using Social Media but not all are aware of how they can maximize the use of it. As its use steadily increased over the years - becoming the most practical and affordable way to connect globally today, business owners and professionals need to realize that they could benefit from some online exposure too. They are so hardworking and absorbed in the operation and management of their actual stores, branches and offices that they didn’t know they could market their products or services online. They have no extra time to do all those things involved in the management of Social Media accounts because they are so busy in the management of their office or store itself.

Social Media Pages Emerged in time of Pandemic and Helped Business Owners and Professionals Coped.
We were asked to stay home and quarantine ourselves at the height of a pandemic caused by the Coronavirus. This particularly happened in 2020. We were required to stay put and practice physical distancing. Most private companies, even big corporations and established professionals are mandated to stop operation and to close public and private offices. Most have turned to Social Media and it has become an online place to interact and do business. There are no people outside resulting in no customers, no clients and zero sales. How did business owners cope? Did they just stop operating their business and stores? How about these busy professionals like doctors, law practitioners and accountants? How did they do their consultations? Social Media pages of business owners and professionals emerged in the time of pandemic.
Imagine this.
A baker has a bakeshop.
A doctor has a clinic.
A lawyer has a law office.
Then something like that happened.
Having a Social Media business page, a baker can use the page to start posting pictures of cakes, pastries and breads - accept online orders and charge the customer for delivery, that’s an extra income.
A doctor or a lawyer can accommodate online appointments and do online consultations too.

Maximize Social Media by setting-up business and professional accounts. Even today that we are allowed to go outside again and operate business as usual, people continue to widely use Social Media platforms to connect, communicate and interact. Many re-opened their stores and offices and continue the use of online platforms as another way to attract customers and clients.
Brand Awareness - many people know you but very few know what you do or what you sell. What is your brand? Create a strong brand identity by being consistent to drive awareness to the target market because competition is high.
Reach - Social Media can facilitate organic campaigns and offer paid advertisements to reach more people interested in your product or service and convert them to a potential customer. The more people to visit and follow your Social Media business pages means a broader audience.
Sales - strong online presence can lead to increase in sales and appointments.
Customer Loyalty - by providing a satisfying customer service can lead to customer loyalty.
Managing and Maintaining Social Media Accounts
Social Media commerce will continue to rise up for 2021 and beyond. More applications will come up and more users will be hooked. It can be very overwhelming to many especially for business owners and professionals who are already busy managing their businesses. It’s always important to plan ahead, monitor and implement strategies on how to be always connected with the accounts. Create posts that are engaging and will highlight your brand. Interact and be attentive with your audience. Once you have achieved your target number of followers, never neglect it and focus again on the actual store because a well-executed page can boost brand awareness, audience, sales and customer loyalty.
The use of Social Media is really beneficial to our livelihood if we just know how to properly maximize it. We often neglect it because we are too occupied with the business and consider using it as time-consuming. But even big corporations have social media pages and they have one managing it. Even TV Networks who are considered traditional media have Social Media pages too. So, have your Social Media accounts set-up and optimized now and kick start your online presence for 2021.
